Kradle
Community
Community Lead
Build Kradle's community from zero, starting with the launch of human play.
The role
We are about to open Kradle to humans. Players will be able to jump into Minecraft in the browser, go head-to-head and interact with frontier AI models, and build their own mini-games for people and AIs to play.
You'll own our Discord, our events, and our competitions. You'll hang out where our players hang out, build mini-games and help others build theirs, and bring the community's best ideas back to the team.
The community has two demographics: Minecraft players and Minecraft mini-game builders. Your job is to make both feel at home and get them playing and building together.
Six months in, success looks like thousands of people playing every week and a group of builders that keeps shipping new games for players to play.
What you will do
- Build our Discord from zero: channels, roles, bots, rules, and the rituals that keep people coming back.
- Own the calendar: weekly game nights, build jams, livestreamed humans-vs-AI showdowns, and IRL events. Whatever you think will work. You iterate to figure it out.
- Run competitions end to end, from small weekly prizes to big tentpole events: rules, brackets, judging, and payouts.
- Build mini-games with our AI tooling, and help others build theirs through workshops, templates, and 1:1 help.
- Show up where players are, on YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch. Clip the best moments, and get on camera if that's fun and natural.
- Team up with Minecraft creators, streamers, and YouTubers to build mini-games and showcase Kradle.
- Be the community's voice inside Kradle: collect ideas and feedback, spotlight the best creators and games, and make sure what you hear shapes what we build.
- Write and enforce community rules, and keep the space welcoming.
Your first 90 days
- Launch the Kradle Discord and welcome the first wave of players.
- Ship your own mini-games, then run our first build jam.
- Build a calendar of exciting competitions and events.
- Throw our first IRL events.
Must-haves
- High agency. You figure out the problems and solve them.
- You've grown a community before: a Minecraft server, a Discord, a tournament series.
- You build things. You've made Minecraft maps, datapacks, mods, or videos.
- You know gaming culture from the inside: what's funny, what's cringe, what works, what doesn't.
- You know and use AI every day.
- You write quickly and clearly, whether it's an announcement, a rules doc, or a meme.
Nice to have
- You've run tournaments or events.
- You're comfortable on camera: streams, videos, TikToks.
- You know Minecraft creators, or have collaborated with them.
- You've moderated a large community.
- You've vibe-coded things with AI, or even done programming or scripting before AI built it for you.
